Reflect on how it can be hard to leave things behind, but how Jesus loved us to so much, he came from Heaven to Earth to save us.Įxplain how Elijah helped Elisha, and Elisha helped Elijah. If your church supports a missionary, you could explain how they left their home to follow Jesus somewhere else. Think about the disciple in the New Testament who left things behind to follow Jesus. Elisha was busy working in the field, but he left everything behind to obey God. Speak to your child about how we respond to helping others and serving God.
